The master set counts each of its 79 cards once, in any card. It leaves out 63 First Edition and 16 First Edition Holofoil.

SoulSilver Collection forms the SoulSilver half of the LEGEND series debut, placing Lugia and Johto’s quieter forests, ruins, and waterways at the centre. It introduces the same Pokémon Prime and two-card Pokémon LEGEND concepts as its companion release.

MoreLess

Lugia LEGEND is the defining collector piece, supported by Pokémon Prime and modernised artwork for familiar Johto species. Because the era was brief, each release contributes a noticeable share of its most recognisable cards. That consistency gives the expansion a recognisable personality even when viewed apart from the competitive decks of its time. For set collectors, the supporting checklist matters almost as much as the headline pulls because it carries the theme from card to card. The expansion therefore works well as a self-contained binder project as well as a chapter in the wider history of the game. Together with HeartGold Collection, the set supplied the foundation of the English HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion.
