Terms of Use

The terms you agree to by using Binderguild. Last updated 11 September 2026.

This is a first draft. It describes how the site actually works today, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and it will change. Nothing here is legal advice.

What Binderguild is

Binderguild is a catalogue of trading cards: every set, every card in it, and what each one has recently sold for. You can browse it and search it, and you do not need an account to do either.

This is a beta. Browsing and searching the whole catalogue is open to everyone. We are not handing out accounts yet, and looking through or comparing other people's collections is still to come.

When those arrive, these terms will grow the sections they need — about your account and about the collection you record — and the date at the top will say when.

Card data, names and artwork

Card names, set names, card text and card images are the property of their respective rights holders. Binderguild is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Card data is licensed from a third-party data provider and card images are shown from that provider’s servers; they are not ours to license on to you.

You may use the catalogue to look things up. You may not copy it wholesale, republish it, or use automated means to extract it in bulk.

Prices are observations, not valuations

Where a price is shown, it is a single observation from a named market, in a named currency, with the date it was observed. It is not an appraisal, not an offer, and not advice about what anything is worth or what you should buy or sell. Card markets move, and an observation can be days old — the page says which. Set totals add up the cheapest recent price we hold for each card and leave out the cards we hold no price for, so they are a rough guide rather than a valuation. Decisions you make with these numbers are your own.

Availability

The site is provided as it is, without warranty. It may be unavailable, it may be wrong, and features may change or be withdrawn — which is what being a beta means. The catalogue comes from a third party and can be incomplete or out of date; where we know a set is incomplete, the page says so rather than presenting a partial count as a whole one.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using the site — including a trade or purchase you made on the strength of something you read here.

Changes

These terms will change as the site grows. The date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.

Contact

A contact address will be published here before launch. Until then, there is no support channel — this version of the site is not yet publicly announced.
