Reviving Legends gives the Johto series a darker, more resilient identity through its emphasis on Darkness- and Metal-type Pokémon. Umbreon, Espeon, Tyranitar, Scizor, and Houndoom feature prominently, with artwork that often uses night skies, industrial settings, and determined battle poses. The expansion feels less like a regional tour and more like a test of Pokémon capable of enduring difficult conditions. Umbreon Prime, Espeon Prime, Tyranitar Prime, Scizor Prime, and Houndoom Prime form an appealing group of collector cards, while Rayquaza & Deoxys LEGEND provides the set’s large two-card centrepiece.

MoreLess

Kyogre & Groudon LEGEND adds another legendary pairing and connects Johto-era mechanics to Hoenn mythology. Several cards also had lasting competitive value, particularly those supporting Darkness and Metal strategies. Reviving Legends stands out for its concentrated roster of popular evolved Pokémon and its cooler visual palette. It broadens the LEGEND era beyond pure Johto nostalgia, presenting a set built around toughness, rivalry, and Pokémon that thrive when battles become more demanding. The English *HS—Undaunted* closely follows this release but reorganises some cards, rarities, and numbering.
