Rage of the Broken Heavens continues the Pokémon BREAK mechanic while shifting the visual focus toward Greninja, Gyarados, and a world under increasing pressure. Water, ice, and fractured landscapes appear throughout the artwork, while Darkrai, Scizor, and several Psychic Pokémon add a darker undertone. The set’s title and imagery suggest strategies and environments being pushed to their breaking point. Greninja BREAK and Trevenant BREAK became especially notable in competitive play, while Raticate BREAK, Luxray BREAK, and others expand the new evolution type.

MoreLess

Mega Scizor-EX and Mega Gyarados-EX provide the major Mega Evolution cards, joined by Darkrai-EX and full-art Trainers such as Skyla. A secret rare Gyarados card featuring the red shiny form is one of the most distinctive collector highlights. Rage of the Broken Heavens builds effectively on the previous expansion rather than reinventing the series, showing how BREAK cards could support several different decks. Its strong Water-type identity, popular featured Pokémon, and dramatic artwork give it a sharper personality than a simple mechanical sequel. The English *XY—BREAKpoint* closely follows this release but reorganises some cards, rarities, and numbering.
