The master set counts each of its 59 cards once, in any card. It leaves out 42 First Edition, 42 Unlimited, 17 First Edition Holofoil and 17 Unlimited Holofoil.

Cruel Traitor provides the colder and more ominous companion to Fever-Burst Fighter, with Shiny Mega Gardevoir, dark allegiances, and a strong contrast between elegance and danger. Dual-type Pokémon and BREAK Evolutions continue across the paired release.

MoreLess

Shiny Mega Gardevoir-EX is the visual centrepiece, joined by full-art Pokémon-EX and several gold BREAK cards. It represents the final stage of the XY design before the game moved to Pokémon-GX. Viewed as a complete checklist, it balances headline cards with supporting Pokémon and artwork that reinforce its central identity. The result reads coherently in a binder, with recurring subjects and visual ideas linking everyday cards to the rarer highlights. Its cards were merged with Fever-Burst Fighter for the English Steam Siege expansion, changing the order and context of the original Japanese card pool.
