Infinity Zone, released in 2020, centres on Eternatus VMAX, Darkness Pokémon, and the strange energy of the Darkest Day. The card pool rewards large Benches filled with Darkness Pokémon and gives the expansion a focused identity built around overwhelming scale and alien power.

MoreLess

Eternatus VMAX and Crobat V became the defining competitive cards, supported by full-art Pokémon and dark, futuristic artwork. The release sits within a period when scenic storytelling became as important as raw rarity. The expansion therefore works well as a self-contained binder project as well as a chapter in the wider history of the game. Its mixture of familiar Pokémon and period-specific presentation makes the full checklist more revealing than a glance at the chase cards alone. Infinity Zone supplied most of the English Darkness Ablaze expansion, which added cards from Explosive Walker and other Japanese products.
