The master set counts 49 Reverse Holofoil and 24 Holofoil. No card comes in more than one of them, so the master set is the same size as the full set.

Released in 2017, Sun & Moon extends the first Alola card pool with additional island Pokémon, Pokémon-GX, and supporting Trainers shortly after the paired launch sets. The smaller checklist develops early regional themes without attempting another full generational reset. Its smaller enhanced-expansion format gives the card list a tighter theme than the era’s main releases.

The artwork frequently links Pokémon to Alola’s characters, locations, and larger stories.
