The master set counts 57 Normal and 25 Holofoil. No card comes in more than one of them, so the master set is the same size as the full set.

Shining Legends is a special expansion devoted to legendary, mythical, and unusually coloured Pokémon. Mew, Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Celebi, Lugia, and the Unova legends create an exceptionally concentrated roster. The set brings back Shining Pokémon, with cards such as Shining Mew, Shining Rayquaza, Shining Jirachi, and Shining Genesect using textured foil on the Pokémon itself. Mewtwo-GX provides several major chase cards, including a secret rare illustration showing Mewtwo inside a laboratory tube.

Entei-GX, Raichu-GX, and Zoroark-GX add further variety, while every pack includes a holographic rare. Shining Legends connects modern collectors to the Shining tradition of the Neo era without directly copying its style. Its small checklist, high concentration of famous Pokémon, and memorable Mewtwo artwork make it one of the most approachable and enduring special sets of the GX period. The English *Shining Legends* closely follows this release but reorganises some cards, rarities, and numbering.
