GX Ultra Shiny, released in 2018, turns the high-class format into a large celebration of Shiny Pokémon, combining familiar competitive reprints with an extensive secret-numbered Shiny Vault. Ordinary Pokémon, evolved favourites, and Pokémon-GX all receive alternate-colour treatments. The high-class format combines reprints with premium new artwork, creating a dense checklist designed as much for collectors as for players.

Shiny Charizard-GX is the defining chase card, supported by Shiny Eeveelutions, full-art Pokémon-GX, and premium Trainers. The artwork frequently links Pokémon to Alola’s characters, locations, and larger stories.
