The master set counts 32 Normal and 16 Holofoil. No card comes in more than one of them, so the master set is the same size as the full set.

Pokémon Jungle expands the original Pokémon world beyond the cities and laboratories of Expansion Pack, placing its creatures in forests, grasslands, and other natural settings. The expansion introduced many popular Kanto Pokémon that had been absent from the first release, including Eevee and its evolutions, Snorlax, Scyther, Pinsir, and the Nidoqueen line. Its artwork gives the set a softer, more adventurous atmosphere, with Pokémon shown resting, hunting, and interacting with their surroundings.

The compact Japanese checklist contains 16 holographic rares and no duplicated non-holographic versions, giving it an unusually concentrated group of headline cards. The holographic Eeveelutions—Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon—are among the best-known cards, while Snorlax and Scyther remain favourites. As the first expansion after Expansion Pack, Pokémon Jungle helped prove that the game could grow beyond its initial roster and established the familiar rhythm of new sets adding missing Pokémon, fresh artwork, and new collecting goals. The English *Jungle* expansion added non-holographic versions of all 16 rare cards, expanding the checklist from 48 to 64 cards.
