The master set counts each of its 91 cards once, in any card. It leaves out 72 First Edition, 72 Unlimited, 19 First Edition Holofoil and 19 Unlimited Holofoil.

Mysterious Mountains, released in 2002, moves the e-Card series into high mountains, caves, forests, and secluded habitats filled with rare Pokémon. The setting feels remote and almost mythical, giving many illustrations a strong sense of scale and discovery.

MoreLess

Charizard, Gengar, and the premium Crystal cards provide the best-known collector highlights. Many illustrations extend naturally into the wide lower border, making complete binder pages especially striking. It also provides a useful snapshot of the design, storytelling, and collecting priorities that shaped this period of the Japanese game. Beyond the best-known cards, smaller illustrations and evolution lines help complete the atmosphere of the release. That consistency gives the expansion a recognisable personality even when viewed apart from the competitive decks of its time. Its card pool joined Split Earth in the English Skyridge expansion, but the Japanese release remains a distinct and highly regarded checklist of its own.
