The master set counts each of its 58 cards once, in any card. It leaves out 40 First Edition and 18 First Edition Holofoil.

Spiral Force, released in 2012, continues the Team Plasma storyline with Deoxys-EX, Psychic power, and cards designed to support Plasma-marked strategies. The set’s spiral imagery gives the faction’s technology and alien influence a strong visual presence.

MoreLess

Deoxys-EX and its full-art version are the leading collector and competitive cards, supported by Team Plasma Trainers and secret rares. Its clean black-border full arts helped define how premium Pokémon cards would look for years afterward. It also provides a useful snapshot of the design, storytelling, and collecting priorities that shaped this period of the Japanese game. Beyond the best-known cards, smaller illustrations and evolution lines help complete the atmosphere of the release. That consistency gives the expansion a recognisable personality even when viewed apart from the competitive decks of its time. Spiral Force was paired with Thunder Knuckle to create the English Plasma Freeze expansion.
