The master set counts each of its 57 cards once, in any card. It leaves out 42 First Edition, 42 Unlimited, 15 First Edition Holofoil and 15 Unlimited Holofoil.

Psycho Drive brings Mewtwo-EX to the centre of the Black & White era and signals the return of high-powered Basic Pokémon-EX. Psychic themes, legendary Pokémon, and an emphasis on immediate attacking strength give the set a major competitive identity.

MoreLess

Mewtwo-EX, including its full-art version, is the clear collector and gameplay centrepiece. Its clean black-border full arts helped define how premium Pokémon cards would look for years afterward. Viewed as a complete checklist, it balances headline cards with supporting Pokémon and artwork that reinforce its central identity. The result reads coherently in a binder, with recurring subjects and visual ideas linking everyday cards to the rarer highlights. It also provides a useful snapshot of the design, storytelling, and collecting priorities that shaped this period of the Japanese game. Psycho Drive was combined with Hail Blizzard to create the English Next Destinies expansion, which marked the beginning of the modern EX-driven format.
