Sun & Moon—Cosmic Eclipse concludes the series with an enormous celebration of Pokémon, Trainers, and partnerships across multiple regions. Arceus & Dialga & Palkia, Solgaleo & Lunala, Reshiram & Zekrom, and other TAG TEAM cards provide the legendary scale, while familiar characters from the video games appear throughout the artwork. The set feels deliberately expansive, bringing together the major ideas of the GX era for a final event. For the international market, cards from Japan’s Remix Bout, Dream League, and Alter Genesis were merged into this expansion.

MoreLess

A secret subset of character cards pairs Pokémon with their Trainers in full-scene illustrations, including Pikachu with Red, Piplup with Dawn, and Excadrill with Clay. These cards helped establish the popularity of character-focused artwork that later series would expand. Alternate-art TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX, full-art Supporters, rainbow rares, and gold cards create an exceptionally deep collector checklist. Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX also became one of the era’s most influential competitive cards. Cosmic Eclipse is remembered as a generous and visually rich finale, combining high-powered gameplay with intimate character moments and giving almost every kind of collector something distinctive to pursue.
