EX Power Keepers closes the EX Series with a broad celebration of powerful Pokémon associated with Hoenn’s Elite Four, Battle Frontier, and legendary landscape. Rather than introducing a major new mechanic, it brings together established ideas from the era: Pokémon-ex, strong evolution lines, recognizable Trainers, and rare Gold Star cards. Absol, Metagross, Salamence, and the legendary Regis contribute to a final, battle-focused atmosphere. Japan later received almost the same checklist as World Champions Pack, released to support players attending the 2007 World Championships.

MoreLess

The Pokémon-ex lineup includes Absol ex, Flygon ex, Metagross ex, Salamence ex, and Walrein ex, offering several fully evolved centrepieces. Flareon ☆, Jolteon ☆, and Vaporeon ☆ form the final Gold Star trio and are the last Pokémon ☆ released in an English expansion, giving the set particular historical importance. Because it appeared at the end of the generation, EX Power Keepers can feel like an epilogue rather than a new storyline, but that is also its appeal. It gathers fan favourites, competitive designs, and the EX era’s defining rarities into a compact farewell before the TCG moved on to Diamond and Pearl.
