Released in 2021, 25th Anniversary Collection marks the Pokémon Card Game’s twenty-fifth anniversary with a compact all-holographic checklist of familiar Pokémon, legendary figures, and celebratory artwork. A separate promotional-card campaign revisited famous cards from earlier eras in their Japanese forms. Its smaller enhanced-expansion format gives the card list a tighter theme than the era’s main releases.

Pikachu, Mew, the anniversary stamp, and the classic-card reprints provide the strongest collector appeal. The release sits within a period when scenic storytelling became as important as raw rarity. The result reads coherently in a binder, with recurring subjects and visual ideas linking everyday cards to the rarer highlights. The English Celebrations release follows the same anniversary concept and shares much of the modern card pool, but its Classic Collection and distribution differ from the Japanese release.
