The master set counts 39 Normal and 30 Holofoil. No card comes in more than one of them, so the master set is the same size as the full set.

Sky Legend, released in 2019, looks to the sky through legendary birds, airborne Pokémon, and the first three-Pokémon TAG TEAM card. Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno-GX gives the set a spectacular centrepiece and a strong connection to Kanto nostalgia. Its smaller enhanced-expansion format gives the card list a tighter theme than the era’s main releases.

The stained-glass-style alternate artwork for the legendary bird trio is the best-known collector image associated with the release. The artwork frequently links Pokémon to Alola’s characters, locations, and larger stories. The expansion therefore works well as a self-contained binder project as well as a chapter in the wider history of the game. Its mixture of familiar Pokémon and period-specific presentation makes the full checklist more revealing than a glance at the chase cards alone. Sky Legend cards were later divided mainly between the English Unified Minds and Hidden Fates expansions rather than kept together internationally.
