The master set counts 38 Normal and 25 Holofoil. No card comes in more than one of them, so the master set is the same size as the full set.

Fairy Rise, released in 2018, centres on Fairy- and Psychic-themed Pokémon, magical settings, and elegant GX cards. Alolan Ninetales-GX and Mimikyu-GX give the small set a softer but still strategically distinctive identity within the late Sun & Moon period. Its smaller enhanced-expansion format gives the card list a tighter theme than the era’s main releases.

Alolan Ninetales-GX, Mimikyu-GX, and full-art Supporters provide the strongest collector appeal. The artwork frequently links Pokémon to Alola’s characters, locations, and larger stories. The expansion therefore works well as a self-contained binder project as well as a chapter in the wider history of the game. Its mixture of familiar Pokémon and period-specific presentation makes the full checklist more revealing than a glance at the chase cards alone. Its cards joined Thunderclap Spark and Super-Burst Impact in the English Lost Thunder expansion, where the three Japanese themes were reorganised into one checklist.
