The master set counts 48 Normal and 25 Holofoil. No card comes in more than one of them, so the master set is the same size as the full set.

Collection Sun, released in 2016, opens the Alola generation with Solgaleo-GX, the region’s new Pokémon, and the debut of Pokémon-GX. Tropical settings, regional forms, and cards connected to Pokémon Sun establish a warm, adventurous identity for the new era.

MoreLess

Solgaleo-GX is the main legendary centrepiece, joined by Alolan Pokémon, the three partner evolution lines, and early full-art and rainbow rare cards. The artwork frequently links Pokémon to Alola’s characters, locations, and larger stories. It also provides a useful snapshot of the design, storytelling, and collecting priorities that shaped this period of the Japanese game. Beyond the best-known cards, smaller illustrations and evolution lines help complete the atmosphere of the release. That consistency gives the expansion a recognisable personality even when viewed apart from the competitive decks of its time. Collection Sun was combined with Collection Moon to form the English Sun & Moon expansion.
