The master set counts 64 Normal and 44 Holofoil. No card comes in more than one of them, so the master set is the same size as the full set.

Violet ex launches alongside Scarlet ex with Miraidon ex, Pokémon associated with Pokémon Violet, and the same return of two-Prize Pokémon ex. Futuristic imagery, Paldean species, and illustration rares give the release a distinctly modern visual identity.

MoreLess

Miraidon ex and the special illustration rare Miriam are among the best-known cards, supported by Paldea’s partner Pokémon and a broad Art Rare selection. Its rarity structure encourages collectors to follow both headline Pokémon and smaller illustrated stories. Viewed as a complete checklist, it balances headline cards with supporting Pokémon and artwork that reinforce its central identity. The result reads coherently in a binder, with recurring subjects and visual ideas linking everyday cards to the rarer highlights. It also provides a useful snapshot of the design, storytelling, and collecting priorities that shaped this period of the Japanese game. Its card pool was merged with Scarlet ex for the English Scarlet & Violet expansion.
