Galactic's Conquest begins a new Sinnoh chapter inspired by Pokémon Galactic's Conquest, with Giratina and the Distortion World at its centre. The expansion introduces Pokémon SP, special cards representing Pokémon owned by notable Trainers or organizations. Team Galactic’s Pokémon appear as Pokémon G, bringing characters and affiliations directly into deck construction, while the redesigned card names and symbols make these printings easy to recognize. Giratina LV.X is the natural headline, joined by Shaymin LV.X and a wide range of Pokémon SP and standard evolutions.

MoreLess

The set also includes reinterpreted versions of familiar Pokémon tied to Team Galactic and other Trainers, creating strategies that depend on shared SP support rather than conventional evolution alone. Visually, the expansion mixes Sinnoh landscapes with darker cosmic imagery associated with Giratina. Galactic's Conquest is important because it changes how ownership works in the TCG: Trainer-linked Pokémon are no longer merely a theme, but a connected gameplay system. It lays the foundation for the increasingly character-focused sets that follow and gives the Sinnoh series a sharper competitive identity. The English *Platinum* closely follows this release but reorganises some cards, rarities, and numbering.
