Offense and Defense of the Furthest Ends takes place on a remote island where delta species Pokémon occur naturally. Almost every Pokémon in the expansion carries the δ mark, making altered types the rule rather than the exception. Dragon-like and powerful species dominate the checklist, including Salamence, Tyranitar, Dragonite, and the legendary beasts, while rugged landscapes and isolated settlements give the set a frontier atmosphere. The Pokémon-ex cards are themselves delta species, producing unusual versions such as Dragonite ex δ, Flygon ex δ, and Salamence ex δ.

MoreLess

Charizard ☆ δ and Mew ☆ δ are the major collector attractions and among the most celebrated Gold Stars, combining alternate colouring with the delta species concept. A broad range of dramatic holographic cards makes complete collections visually impressive. As the climax of the Holon storyline, Offense and Defense of the Furthest Ends pushes its central mechanic further than any previous release. Its near-total commitment to altered types, powerful roster, and two iconic Gold Stars make it one of the defining expansions of the EX era. The English *EX Dragon Frontiers* closely follows this release but reorganises some cards, rarities, and numbering.
