The master set counts each of its 70 cards once, in any card. It leaves out 59 First Edition, 59 Unlimited, 11 First Edition Holofoil and 11 Unlimited Holofoil.

Moonlit Pursuit, released in 2007, follows Pokémon through moonlit forests, hidden routes, and encounters with legendary or mysterious creatures. Darkrai, Cresselia, and several powerful evolutions give the set a more nocturnal and supernatural atmosphere than earlier Sinnoh releases.

MoreLess

Its Pokémon LV.X and atmospheric rare cards provide the main collector appeal, with Darkrai and Cresselia forming a natural thematic pair. The result is a checklist that feels closely connected to Sinnoh’s myths, locations, and new evolutions. The expansion therefore works well as a self-contained binder project as well as a chapter in the wider history of the game. Its mixture of familiar Pokémon and period-specific presentation makes the full checklist more revealing than a glance at the chase cards alone. Most Moonlit Pursuit cards appeared in Great Encounters, while others were redistributed when the Japanese block was divided for the English market.
