The master set counts each of its 92 cards once, in any card. It leaves out 67 First Edition, 67 Unlimited, 25 First Edition Holofoil and 25 Unlimited Holofoil.

Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky closes the series with an atmosphere of gathering conflict and a lineup built around powerful, established Pokémon. Charizard, Gengar, Machamp, Tyranitar, and Dusknoir give the set a heavier tone, while stormy skies and dramatic action scenes reinforce the feeling of a final confrontation. The expansion also looks back to the game’s beginnings through secret cards that recreate the classic Expansion Pack Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard artwork with updated frames. Charizard and Gengar are the collector centrepieces, joined by Pokémon LV.X such as Dusknoir, Machamp, and Raichu.

MoreLess

A small group of unusually coloured Pokémon, including shiny versions of Drifloon and Duskull, provides another layer of hidden rarity. Several cards were highly influential in competitive play, giving the set a strong gameplay legacy as well. Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky balances nostalgia with the mature mechanics of the DP era, making it feel both retrospective and forward-looking. Its secret Charizard line remains one of the period’s most distinctive collecting ideas. The English *Diamond & Pearl—Stormfront* closely follows this release but reorganises some cards, rarities, and numbering.
