The master set counts 124 Reverse Holofoil, 114 Normal and 72 Holofoil. It leaves out 29 Play Pokemon Stamp, 25 Play Pokemon Stamp Holofoil, 9 Ondrej Skubal, 7 Normal sold outside booster packs and 42 more in 17 other printings.

Its Trainer Gallery (30 cards) is part of this expansion, listed on its own. Together they are 216 cards and 340 unique printings in the master set.

Sword & Shield—Brilliant Stars introduces Pokémon VSTAR, a new evolution of Pokémon V with a once-per-game VSTAR Power. Arceus leads the mechanic, joined by Charizard, Shaymin, and Whimsicott, while cosmic light and Sinnoh mythology shape much of the artwork. VSTAR cards give powerful Pokémon a more compact alternative to VMAX, generally offering two Prizes rather than three when Knocked Out. Its main set comes from Japan’s Star Birth, while the Trainer Gallery draws from VMAX Climax.

MoreLess

Arceus VSTAR and Charizard VSTAR are the main headline cards, with alternate arts and rainbow versions adding premium targets. The expansion also introduces the 30-card Trainer Gallery, a separately numbered subset showing Pokémon alongside their Trainers. Umbreon VMAX with Karen, Sylveon VMAX with Valerie, and several character rares became immediate collector favourites. Full-art Supporters and gold cards extend the checklist further. Brilliant Stars begins the final phase of the Sword & Shield era by combining a meaningful gameplay change with more narrative artwork. Its Arceus theme, Charizard presence, and first Trainer Gallery give the expansion several strong and enduring identities.
