Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm celebrates Hoenn through tropical storms, ancient legends, and returning characters. Rayquaza leads the set alongside Blaziken, Articuno, Stakataka, and several Pokémon strongly associated with the third generation. Many Trainer cards revisit recognizable figures and locations, giving the expansion the feel of a Hoenn tribute presented through modern GX-era design. Its card pool combines Japan’s Champion Road and Sky-Splitting Charisma into one larger English expansion.

Rayquaza-GX is the main collector and gameplay highlight, with Blaziken-GX, Scizor-GX, and Stakataka-GX adding further high-rarity cards. Prism Stars such as Latias, Latios, and Jirachi strengthen the legendary theme, while full-art Supporters including Lisia and Steven’s Resolve became especially popular with collectors. Several artworks and card choices reference older TCG releases, rewarding longtime fans without turning the set into a direct reprint collection. Celestial Storm combines nostalgia with a broad, energetic atmosphere: skies, oceans, jungles, and meteor-like forces all contribute to its identity. Its strong Hoenn roster and sought-after character cards make it one of the most distinctive regional celebrations of the Sun & Moon series.
