Scarlet & Violet—White Flare forms the second half of the paired Unova celebration begun by Black Bolt. Reshiram leads the expansion with a bright, flame-filled identity, while Pokémon, characters, and settings from Pokémon Black and White return in new illustrations. Across the two sets, all 156 Pokémon originally discovered in Unova receive a place, making the pair feel like a complete regional archive rather than a conventional sequence of unrelated cards. It was largely adapted from Japan’s White Flare, with modest changes to card selection and rarity distribution.

Reshiram ex is the primary legendary centrepiece, supported by special illustration rares and character cards tied to Unova’s story. Each species across the paired expansions is available with an illustration rare or special illustration rare treatment, encouraging collectors to assemble a full visual Pokédex. Black White rare cards use bold monochrome artwork, while Poké Ball and rarer Master Ball parallel patterns extend the master-set challenge. White Flare is designed to complement rather than replace Black Bolt: truth and ideals, fire and lightning, and the two legendary dragons are most meaningful when viewed together. The result is one of the TCG’s most comprehensive tributes to a single generation.
