Diamond & Pearl—Mysterious Treasures explores Sinnoh’s lakes, caves, fossils, and hidden legends. Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf bring the lake guardians into the TCG, while Pokémon such as Rampardos, Bastiodon, Magmortar, and Electivire highlight the region’s new evolutions and revived fossils. The set’s artwork often feels exploratory, with ancient sites and remote landscapes supporting its theme of discoveries waiting beneath the surface. It was largely adapted from Japan’s Secret of the Lakes, with modest changes to card selection and rarity distribution.

MoreLess

Several Pokémon LV.X provide the major collector and gameplay attractions, including Magmortar LV.X, Electivire LV.X, Lucario LV.X, and the legendary lake trio. Time-Space Distortion appears as a rare, dramatic Trainer card, reinforcing the wider Sinnoh mythology. The expansion broadens the generation beyond its starters and box legends, giving attention to many of the unusual species and evolutionary connections introduced in the video games. Mysterious Treasures is a varied early Sinnoh set, but its fossils, guardians, and powerful evolved Pokémon give it a clear identity centred on uncovering the region’s ancient and supernatural secrets.
